Stuck at home with the kiddos and they're already bored? Looking for fun and free educational opportunities? Look no further. We've gathered a list of virtual tours, resources, and videos to utilize while you're practicing social distancing and staying at home.


Home Safaris at Cincinnati Zoo

Follow the Cincinnati Zoo on Facebook where they will host a Facebook Live event called Home Safaris. The Home Safaris will start at 2 p.m. CST and will be posted on their website and their YouTube channel for those who can't watch live.


Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems

Join Mo Willems in his studio everyday at Noon CST for a lunch doodle. You'll learn to draw, doodle and explore new ways of writing by visiting Mo’s studio.


Storyline Online

Storyline Online streams imaginatively produced videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations helping to inspire a love of reading in children. For each book, supplemental curriculum developed by a literacy specialist is provided, aiming to strengthen comprehension and verbal and written skills for English-language learners worldwide.


National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian

The Smithsonian allows visitors to take self-guided, room-by-room virtual tours of select exhibits and areas within the museum from their desktop of mobile device. Visitors can also access select research and collections areas at our satellite support and research stations and past exhibits no longer on display.
