People with Purpose is a social dayhab program offered to individuals ages 18 and up. Participants gain social engagement while getting involved with the Quad Cities community and volunteering at a variety of area charities and organizations.
People with Purpose fills the gap left after high school for young adults of all abilities, including those with disabilities, providing participants will opportunities five days a week to be social, have fun, learn new skills, and make a positive impact on their community.

community involvement
Participants get involved in the Quad Cities community and enjoy the many activities that are available for young adults, such as visiting the library, visiting the book store and enjoying hot chocolate together, and
shopping at the mall.

volunteering
Participants gain life and work skills by volunteering at organizations such as the QC Botanical Center, Nahant Marsh, Sweet Pea's Therapy Center, Bickford Senior Living, and the Scott County YMCA.

social engagement
Participants are given opportunities to socialize and spend time with others their age. Two goals of People with Purpose are increasing confidence and improving social skills, and having fun and making friends along the way is always encouraged, too!
