Hand in Hand's school age programs give parents peace of mind about their children's care when they're at work and their children are out of school. These programs are inclusive to individuals of all abilities ages 5-18.
Programs include after school care, care on school out days, and Summer Enrichment. All of these programs aim to give participants a safe and welcoming place to be themselves, where they can learn new skills, become more independent, and gain social skills while having fun.
Participants can expect a wide range of fun and education field trip to places such as the Figge Art Museum, Niabi Zoo, Putnam Museum, splash pads, and inclusive parks.
From enjoying the sensory garden, to riding bikes, to creating unique pieces of artwork, participants can expect to take part in a variety of fun activities during school age programs.
Participants are provided with many opportunities to try new things and learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Participants also get the chance to explore the Quad Cities community and enjoy all it has to offer!
